Hard Surface Care

Bacteria are everywhere — especially on the surfaces you touch. By maintaining clean surfaces, you’ll make sure that the right levels of hygiene in your environment are upheld. Without regular surface cleaning, colds and flu viruses are more readily spread from person to person. This can lead to periods of employee absence, which interrupts business, and costs the company time and money.

Terminology

Dustbane’s Dynamic Surfactant Technology (D.S.T.)
A surfactant that is exclusive to Dustbane. It was developed to increase the efficiency of the products while maintaining a neutral pH. This surfactant is biodegradable, and contains no phosphates, VOCs, EDTA or APE. It is not toxic to either aquatic life or humans.

VOC
Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are emitted as gases from certain solids or liquids. VOCs include a variety of chemicals, some of which may have short and long-term adverse health effects.

Solvent Free
Different solvents have different health effects, which will depend on the length and degree of exposure. Such exposure could result in skin problems such as drying, cracking, reddening or blistering of the affected area or headaches, and drowsiness.

Ammonia Free
Vapours may irritate the skin, eyes, throat, and lungs. People with asthma may be particularly sensitive to the effects of breathing ammonia. Ammonia may also cause kidney and liver damage.

Phosphate Free
In the past, phosphates were commonly used in detergents because of their superior cleaning performance. Higher than normal phosphate levels can destroy the health of lakes, streams or other fresh bodies of water, as they allow algae to grow faster than would naturally occur.
