Where to use

HealthGuard is effective for non-porous, high-touch, high-traffic areas. A few specific use cases include:

Animal Housing: Remove poultry/animals and ensure thorough cleaning of all soils, food, and feces before application. Saturate surfaces with the solution, allow 5 minutes of contact time and ventilate the space before housing animals again.
Ultrasonic Bath Disinfection: Fill the chamber with fresh 16 ml of HealthGuard for every 1 litre of water (1:64). Place objects in the bath and operate for 5 minutes. Remove objects and wash with sterile water before use.
Hot Tub, Saunas and Whirlpool Units: Fill the unit with fresh water and add 16 ml of HealthGuard for every 1 litre of water. Circulate the solution for 5 minutes and rinse the side walls, chairlift, etc. with fresh water before use.
Barber/Salon Tools: Immerse pre-cleaned tools in the 1:64 diluted solution for 5 minutes, rinse, and dry before reuse.

How to use

Cleaning and Deodorizing: Dilute 16 mL of HealthGuard per litre of water (1:64). Apply with a cloth, mop, sponge or sprayer, thoroughly wetting the surface. Allow to air-dry.

General Disinfection: Dilute at 1:64. Remove heavy soil, apply to hard, non-porous surfaces and keep surfaces wet for five minutes. Surfaces that contact food must be rinsed with potable water. A potable-water rinse is also recommended for surfaces or objects that may be mouthed by children. Do not use on utensils, glasses or dishes.

Non-Food-Contact Surface Sanitizing: Dilute 16 mL per litre of water (1:64). Remove gross filth and heavy soil. Thoroughly wet the surface for 15 seconds and allow it to air-dry.

Norovirus and Feline Calicivirus Disinfection: Dilute 64 mL per litre of water (1:16) and apply to hard, non-porous surfaces according to the disinfection directions on the product label.

Mildewcidal: Apply at a 1:64 dilution. Follow the disinfection directions, allow the product to dry on the surface and repeat when mildew growth returns.

Fungicidal: Apply at a 1:64 dilution and maintain ten minutes of wet contact on environmental surfaces such as shower-room floors, locker-room benches and bath mats. Effective against Trichophyton interdigitale, the fungus associated with athlete’s foot.

Barber and Salon Tools: Immerse pre-cleaned tools in a 1:64 solution for at least five minutes. Rinse and dry thoroughly before reuse. Remove stainless-steel and metal tools after five minutes to help prevent damage.

Blood and Body-Fluid Decontamination: Pre-clean blood and body fluids while wearing appropriate personal protective equipment. Apply a 1:64 solution and keep the surface wet for five minutes for decontamination against HIV-1, hepatitis B and hepatitis C viruses.

Toilet and Urinal Disinfection: Add 45 mL of concentrate to a toilet bowl containing approximately 2.8 L of water, or apply a 1:64 solution to an emptied toilet or urinal. Brush thoroughly, allow five minutes of contact and flush.

Animal Housing and Farm Premises: Remove animals, feed and heavy soil before treatment. Apply a 1:64 solution and keep surfaces wet for five minutes. Ventilate the area and rinse surfaces that contact feed or drinking water.

Ultrasonic Bath Disinfection: Add a fresh 1:64 solution directly to the ultrasonic bath. Pre-clean objects and operate the unit for at least five minutes. Rinse with sterile water or allow to air-dry.

Whirlpool-Unit Disinfection: Add HealthGuard at 1:64 to fresh water and circulate the solution through the unit. Clean related surfaces, maintain five minutes of wet contact, drain and rinse.
